This research employed Wistar male rats, divided into two groups, standard diet (SD) group (n=18), and high-fat diet (HFD) group (n=18). After the completion of the specified dietary period, each group was further subdivided into subgroups representing sham, ischemia-reperfusion, and preconditioning interventions.
